Accreditation Canada is a not-for-profit, independent organization which provides national and international health care organizations with a voluntary, external peer review to assess the quality of their services based on standards of excellence. Accreditation Canada is recognized by the public as the most effective way for health care organizations to regularly and consistently examine and improve the quality of services. 

Since 2005 First Health Care has been meeting national standards set by Accreditation Canada.
